  1. #composttea experiments with bubble!

Trying to get more biology in my #compost

Thanks adkaction.org/project/compost- for all the help!

  2. I don't have a good way to cover the #compost pile and it's been raining a ton, so we have a whole lot of #CompostTea. Like, 10 gallons of it.

Do we just wait for the rain to lay off and then water plants with it? Does this stuff have an expiration date? It's too wet out to even water anything most of the time, so I'm just dumping all the tea in a 30 gallon tote and hoping the rain eventually stops.

  6. #CompostAtHome tip

If you have to #transplant your #seedlings make a bucket of aerated #compost tea. Soak the #seedling in the #compostTea for 30 seconds to get the biological activity in the #soil block.

The big pro of doing this is that you won't have to water after the transplant and it will give enough nutrients for the plant to grow and avoid any shock.
