  1. So now that vibe coding is a thing, what happens to #competitiveprogramming? Is everybody now just asking the clanker to jog around the field for them? I was never a fan of the _competitive_ bit but the problems still have value. I'm doing cses.fi bc I can improve my Haskell (& CS) with it.

  3. 🚨 ALERT: Niche Alert! 🚨 Some brave soul decided to write a thesis on "biconnected components," because apparently, one connection just wasn't enough. 🤓 Who knew competitive programming was secretly a soap opera of nodes and edges? Don't worry, C code included for the three people who care. 🙄💻

  5. The folks at #Kattis finally published the problems from a bunch of old #competitiveprogramming contests that they have hosted over the years, including quite a few that I helped organize. Yay! (I have been bugging them to do this literally for years.) In particular, the list of available problems written by me instantly went from 2 to about 35:

    open.kattis.com/problem-author

I have solved many (though not all) of them in #Haskell. Give them a try and let me know what you think! 😄

  8. I have been blogging for a while now using the #BQN programming language. I write mostly about #computationalsciences and sometimes #competitiveprogramming. But the most important aspect is the array/functional approaches used for all problems. Any feedback welcome.

  9. I've recorded a screencast for my old bash script alltests — test runner for competitive programming. It runs an executable against set of static tests (sample inputs and outputs).

  10. I made a very long twitter thread about tips for programming competitions: twitter.com/FakePsyho/status/1

(I know it's weird to link to twitter from here, but I thought it's worthy of an exception)

  12. I'm a grad student at UW[1] David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, working on #bioinformatics #MassSpectrometry. Having a dog (yes, that's my avatar).

    I'm a #Firefox user since 3.0, and a #Fedora user since 2012.

I had been participating is #competitiveProgramming since high school. It's fun even if I had never been in Div 1 :(. I'm maintaining github.com/Endle/rust-bundler- to use #rustlang on codeforces.com
