You need Wayback to run the thousands of Xorg coded programs written before Wayland was conceived.
I only need this on my SBC. I run Xorg in MX-Linux

One of the cool things about the #Minstrel4th is the fact that its #ROM not only contains the original #JupiterACE ROM and an Enhanced JupiterACE ROM by @nihirash (which enables program load via serial I/O amongst other things) - no: there are also #ZX80 and #ZX81 "compatible" #BASIC ROMs available on the additional banks, all selectable via jumpers.

The ZX81 compatible ROM works well enough to run "Flight Simulation" by Psion Computers.

EDIT: Oh, and it runs the ZX81 version of "Mazogs", of course ...

What will not work is anything that uses non-standard screen and keyboard routines, as the hardware of the Minstrel 4th is slightly different from the original ZX81. Still, it's a nice extra I didn't expect.

Why is Python special in this regard? Many applications, whether written in Python, Perl, Ruby, or C etc, embed a particular version of a library because they either can't rely on it being available system-wide, or because they can't rely on the system-provided one being completely #compatible with their needs.

I find virtual environments an elegant solution to the problem, better than many other languages' solutions.

Our A Plague Tale: Requiem #review has been #updated with regards to the #new #patch that made the #game significantly more #compatible with the #SteamDeck.
New #graphical options and a #resolution #optimizer allows the game to hit 30 #FPS much more often, while sticking to 2.5 hours of battery.
While not perfect, this is definitely a welcome change and has made the game #playable on deck!
