We are working towards similar community building goals, in separate areas of the island.     There's 2 days for new signs making work to be done. I'll be there on both days 😊

    Monday, July 21st, 10am-12pm.
    Sunday, July 27th, 1pm-3pm.
    Join in as we start on a new project of creating some beautiful and engaging #signage in the orchard. Together we will be working on sanding, painting and varnishing wooden signs to label each fruit tree in the orchard! Artistic skills are welcome but not required.

    You can register for all volunteer shifts on the Gleaning Hub:

    The Monday sign making #workparty is followed with an afternoon orchard work party - we need help with pruning fruit trees, weeding & general orchard care duties.

    We added more enriched soil to vegetable garden beds, pruned tomato plants, sowed more food/herbs plant seeds, added 2 new fig trees, weeded out lots of bindweed & harvested sour cherries. Some new #volunteers came out to help this weekend 😀🙌👩‍🌾👨‍🌾❤️
