Voll der feine, inspirierende Samstag beim C3WTF: Da war die erste FLINTA-Edition unseres C3WTF* (Chaos Computer Club Wien + Capture the Flag) und ich bin immer noch ganz happy über die Energie im Raum!
Gemeinsam mit @totientfunction durfte ich das Event hosten, es war großartig zu sehen, wie viele motivierte FLINTA* zusammengekommen sind, um Sicherheitslücken auf Webseiten aufzuspüren (ethisches Hacken) oder die Kommandozeile spielerisch zu erarbeiten

Besonders schön war der gegenseitige Support. Egal ob Profi oder absolute Anfänger*in, Themen wurde erklärt, sich gegenseitig Tipps gegeben und gemeinsam um die Ecke gedacht. Genau so macht Technik Spaß!

#Recipe we used yesterday is in photos with detailed AltText.

We did 1 batch for 1 minute. 2nd batch was 1.5 minutes. I think if we left it for 2 minutes, we'd see better contrasts in the negatives. The photo negative samples from both experimental batches are below.

The #Graflex #CrownGraphic aka Graflex #PacemakerCrownGraphic is a #LargeFormat press #camera introduced by Graflex Inc. in 1947. The lesser known Crown Graphic is commonly mistaken for the Graflex Speed Graphic which is often regarded as the most famous press camera of all time. The mistake is easy to make, however, since the two cameras are identical apart from an additional focal plane shutter on the speed.

The lesser known Crown Graphic is commonly mistaken for the Graflex Speed Graphic which is often regarded as the most famous press camera of all time. The mistake is easy to make, however, since the two cameras are identical apart from an additional focal plane shutter on the speed.

Learned a lot. Got to enjoy hands-on practice at blending different processing fluids & developing photos at the workshop.

I'm quite tired now. Really need to eat & rest. I met some wonderful fellow creatives. I'm keen to learn & do more of these experimental, alternative photography processing manual techniques.
I recruited 2 new activist volunteers too, for free Palestine actions.

City of Victoria Artist in Residence Kemi Craig is hosting an experimental #workshop with collaborating artist Trudi Lynn Smith and guest artist Josh Ngenda from Flux Media that will introduce participants to alternative ways of developing #AnalogueFilm using #indigo and other #PlantBased materials.

Participants will be given strips of film which they can use to explore images produced by a variety of plant-based developers and tints, with a focus on indigo. No experience with dark room process is needed. All materials will be supplied.

This event will be hosted outdoors.
Pre-registration required.

"Dear Solarpunks, my name is Benjamín Maldonado, a Chilean 21 year old Solarpunk enthusiast that throughout the last few months, has tried to learn as much as possible about the movement and genre. This personal passion led me to choose Solarpunk as the subject of my thesis for the Bachelor of Cultural Anthropology at Leiden University.

The following survey will be part of that thesis, where I will ask you about your thoughts on different matters like the Solarpunk movement, Solarpunk content, Solarpunk communities and some basic demographics. Based on the time I have spent in Solarpunk forums, it is very likely that you are also curious on what other Solarpunks think. Given this, after I close the survey I would like to share my findings with you all, hopefully contributing to the ongoing debates within the community.

Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential. Your personal information will not be divulged, and your individual responses will remain anonymous.
