Community bonds!
I was looking to shift some retirement savings towards sustainable investing. But most funds focus on absence of harm, as opposed to doing good. In Canada, this looks like investing in banks, insurers, railroads, and tech. 🫠
So I went looking for who is actually doing some good. Last year I made the leap and invested in a bond with Kensington Community Land Trust #KCLT, to expand affordable housing.
