Dug a bit further today, since I have a plan of getting a working #Commdore64 up and running again, and found not only the #MOS8580 #SID I knew I saved, but a #MOS6581 SID, from I don't know where.

Saw a video review of a Commodore 64x yesterday, The guy was raving about how good the new Commodore OS is.

It's just a plastic box that looks like an old #commdore64 with a regular PC in it, running #Debian, with a theme that is a bit Commodoreish...

It was fascinating to hear him say how much better it was than a Mac or a Windows PC.

It's amazing how far a bit of nostalgia will take you!

Checked out the 2011 Easyflash conversion of Prince of Persia to C64 the other day - Very impressive stuff!

A little slowdown here and there, but not much. I wonder if any other releases use the EF format as a rom cart?

Is it still possible to buy the IDE64? I've asked the original creator, he never got back to me. I've searched ebay, nothing.

Technically it should also work for building on #mac, but there are probably other ways and I have not tried it for a while.

IceBro Lite is a #Commdore64 debugger that connects remotely to the VICE #C64 emulator
