I use my computer for banking, as I've done for as long as there have been personal computers, frankly.
Now, when I want to login to my bank account, I have to....
LOG IN TO THE #COMMBANK APP TO SAY IT'S ME LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT ON THE COMPUTER.
All for 2FA. All for it.
Just send me a FUCKING CODE like everyone else does.

On the phone to #CommBank to complain about the new 2FA which kicks in when you attempt to login to your account on a computer. Instead of just being sent a code for 2FA - that would be far too simple - you now have to LOGIN TO YOUR APP to confirm it was you trying to login on another device.
So, you have to LOGIN to the app to be able to LOGIN on a computer.
I am officially too fcken old for this world.

So, the big security message which Commbank put across everyone's account during the last month & forced everyone to click 'Agree' to get rid of so they could access their own money was a HUGE flop!! It amounted to nothing at all, less than nothing in fact, this is the first time I've ever had a scammer access my account, and it happened directly after commbank instigated this "you beaut new/greatest" security measure.. The scammers are laughing their asses off..

Cheers Commbank for completely missing the ball on that one.... dispute lodged, cards cancelled, and now gotta wait over a week for the new card to arrive, lovely...

So, Commbank have started rolling this out today, notice there is no way to "Opt Out" of your biometrics being recorded by commbank nor is there any way to get rid of the message from your screen to access your account unless you click 'Accept', your account is essentially "Locked" by the message until you click 'Accept' at which point it disappears from the screen.
