My art is going to be on the cover of a doujinshi at Comiket, yay! My wildest dreams ever!! That makes two times I've been published in Japanese doujinshi ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶

If you are lucky enough to be in Japan, the circle is キタキリスズメ (Kitari Suzume) and the booth will be at 南2ホール g 41b (South Hall 2, g-41b)!

If there's any interest here, I'll post the art here eventually, once I've been given permission o/ I also did a flyer for an event in September called Comic★Treasure, which you can see here in the fourth image, a photo taken by the radio host Takerun! That one features characters from other AIC series~

Ok, so several years ago I attended my first Tokyo comic show "Comiket" dressed as Godzilla - as one does. (see quoted post)

Anyway, I really wanted a souvenir from the show - you know, like a T-shirt! I chatted with folks in my broken Japanese trying to find if there was something like this available. I came away from this memorable day with the following all over print shirt that periodically makes its way into my pajama rotation.

I haven't yet found an event that calls for it, and my wife is not a big fan of it (or comics generally)....hence why I navigated finding my way to and around Comiket on my own. 😂

The main summer festival relevant to Otaku culture would be the 'Summer Comic Market' (Natsu Comiket or 夏コミ). This specific scene is from C90 in 2016 in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, where the Maiddragon herself gets photos taken as a cosplayer.
