They were taken with a 135mm focal-length telephoto lens on a digital SLR camera (at f/2.8). Last night's was a 20 sec exposure (one of a sequence I haven't had time to reduce yet).
Last night's image also shows two star clusters. NGC 6633 is the group of stars at the top, and IC 4756 is to the upper left of the comet. Both are open star clusters.

The first is with the F-Stop minimized and the second with it at normal settings. Both enhanced a bit with Luminari Luminar Neo.
I think I am learning what works best for my setup. I am much happier with these photos than the ones last night.

Last night my daughter & I went back to her high school campus. A teacher opened up the school observatory to view the comet. The telescope view was underwhelming.
I also brought along camera & tripod to see if I could recapture the magic from a few nights ago.
The town is highly light polluted & the comet has dimmed. I could not find it in the viewfinder, so I shot on instinct. This is the best I could do. Comet is upper left.
