Cine-Debate ComCom: Pizza, Birra, Faso
Aula a confirmar, Pabellón 0+Infinito, viernes, 24 de abril, 19:30 GMT-3
🎬🍿 Cinéfilos ComCom proyecta Pizza, Birra, Faso (1998), film argentino escrito y dirigido por Bruno Stagnaro (Okupas, El eternauta) e Israel Adrián Caetano.
La trama sigue a El Cordobés y a sus amigos, quienes conviven en una casa tomada y deambulan por el centro porteño subsistiendo a base de hurtos y pequeños robos.
Pizza, Birra, Faso es la película fundamental que marcó el inicio de lo que se denominó el Nuevo Cine Argentino. El film rompe con la tradición del cine industrial de estudios para mostrar una Buenos Aires callejera, marginal y cruda. Al poner el foco en la cotidianeidad de sus personajes y validar su lenguaje propio, la obra ofrece una mirada observacional y honesta por parte los autores con respecto a la sociedad argentina de los años 90, despojada de moralejas o propósitos militantes; diferenciándose, así también del cine político de los años 60 y 70.

🎬🍿 Cinéfilos ComCom proyecta Trainspotting (1996), film británico dirigido por Danny Boyle. Basado en la novela de Irvine Welsh.
Sigue la vida de un grupo de jóvenes en Edimburgo, atrapados en la adicción a la heroína y liderados por Mark Renton. A través de situaciones crudas, caóticas y, por momentos, irónicamente divertidas, Renton intentará escapar de ese estilo de vida, enfrentándose tanto a sus propios impulsos como a la influencia de su entorno.

¿Te cansaste de que tu código funcione en tu máquina y falle en todas las demás? ¿Querés dejar de perder tiempo configurando entornos para cada TP o proyecto? Venite a aprender a crear entornos portables que se comporten igual en cualquier computadora, sin importar el sistema operativo o la configuración.

En el marco del paro universitario por la no aplicación de la Ley de Financiamiento Universitario, desde la ComCom queremos invitarles a participar en una serie de talleres organizados y dictados por alumnos de la carrera, a lo largo de 3 semanas.
Los talleres tienen un cupo de 50 personas cada uno (capacidad máxima del aula).
¿Querés armarte un sitio web? ¿Un CV con mucha onda? ¿Un blog? ¿Lo que sea que se te ocurra? En el taller de desarrollo web vamos a tener una introducción bien potente al tema. Es un taller super introductorio dirigido a gente que no sepa absolutamente nada. Nos vamos a concentrar exclusivamente en HTML y CSS, los dos lenguajes necesarios para poder construir un sitio que se vea espectacular y tener las bases necesarias para que después puedan profundizar en el gigantesco campo del desarrollo web.
Requerimientos: Nada (Preferible tener algo de experiencia navegando/modificando archivos de texto. Ideal saber usar vscode)

¿Alguna vez te preguntaste cómo hacen dos programas que no se conocen para comunicarse entre sí, o cómo hace tu app del clima para saber la temperatura? ¡Detrás de todo eso hay una API! En el taller vamos a ver de qué se tratan, qué tipos existen, cómo diseñarlas e implementarlas.
Requerimientos: Recomendamos tener Algoritmos y Estructuras de Datos (Algo 2).

LLENO GameDev - Talleres ComCom

En el marco del paro universitario por la no aplicación de la Ley de Financiamiento Universitario, desde la ComCom queremos invitarles a participar en una serie de talleres organizados y dictados por alumnos de la carrera, a lo largo de 3 semanas.
Los talleres tienen un cupo de 50 personas cada uno (capacidad máxima del aula).
Finalmente sucedió, ¡un taller de videojuegos por y para la gente de Exactas! Desde los titánicos píxeles de Pong hasta las partículas de humedad del Death Stranding, los videojuegos nos conciernen (casi) desde el nacimiento del transistor. En este taller vamos a ofrecer una introducción práctica al uso de motores gráficos para videojuegos, enfocándonos en Godot particularmente (aunque el acercamiento apunta a ser bastante flexible).

LLENO Arduino - Talleres ComCom

En el marco del paro universitario por la no aplicación de la Ley de Financiamiento Universitario, desde la ComCom queremos invitarles a participar en una serie de talleres organizados y dictados por alumnos de la carrera, a lo largo de 3 semanas.
Los talleres tienen un cupo de 50 personas cada uno (capacidad máxima del aula).
En el taller de Arduino, tenemos un problema: encontramos un juego viejo creado por la ComCom en 1985, pero el joystick que teníamos para controlarlo se rompió! Vení a aprender sobre Arduino y divertite armando un joystick desde cero, desde la parte electrónica hasta escribir código para comunicarse con la PC.
Requerimientos: Ideal tener conocimientos de programación (haber cursado Introducción a la Programación)

Saber Git es clave para cualquiera que quiera programar, es una herramienta esencial para el desarrollo de software y la vas a terminar usando en todas tus materias. Este taller te va a ayudar a entender cómo organizar y manejar tus proyectos académicos, proyectos personales y mejorará tus habilidades para trabajar en equipo.
Requerimientos: Ninguno, pero se aprovecha más si tenés un poco de experiencia usando la terminal

"New Zealand has been 'lagging behind' the rest of the world in offering repairs for products, an advocate says.
"Kiwis are now a step closer to the guaranteed right to repair the products they own with the Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill passing its first reading in Parliament on Wednesday.
"If successful, the legislation would compel manufacturers to ensure repair facilities and spare parts for their products are made available in New Zealand.
"#GreenParty co-leader #MaramaDavidson who has sponsored the bill said it combined climate action with cost of living relief.
"'The Right to Repair is about empowering consumers to repair what they own, protecting them from recurring costs and in turn preventing more and more waste going to #landfill and polluting our #environment.'
"She believed it would favour consumers over big corporates 'who build #obsolescence into their products so people have to keep coming back to replace their things and spend more of their money'.
"It would benefit households as well as businesses including farmers who would be able to fix the appliances and the tools they needed to do their jobs.
"Auckland University Professor and member of the Right to Repair Coalition Alex Simms calls it a 'first step'.
"It was a worldwide movement and New Zealand was "lagging behind', she told Morning Report.
"Simms said one drawback of the existing bill was that the Commerce Commission would not have the power to compel manufacturers to comply because it is an amendment to the Consumer Guarantees Act.
"One suggestion that arose during the debate in Parliament was that it should become part of the #FairTradingAct so that #ComCom would have enforcement powers.
"Also, currently if a consumer takes an item such as a phone to an unauthorised repairer a warranty becomes void - that would no longer apply if the bill became law, Professor Simms said.
"'That will really help people get stuff fixed a lot cheaper."

#NewZealand: #RightToRepair Amendment Bill a critical 'first step' for consumers

"New Zealand has been 'lagging behind' the rest of the world in offering repairs for products, an advocate says.
"Kiwis are now a step closer to the guaranteed right to repair the products they own with the Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill passing its first reading in Parliament on Wednesday.
"If successful, the legislation would compel manufacturers to ensure repair facilities and spare parts for their products are made available in New Zealand.
"#GreenParty co-leader #MaramaDavidson who has sponsored the bill said it combined climate action with cost of living relief.
"'The Right to Repair is about empowering consumers to repair what they own, protecting them from recurring costs and in turn preventing more and more waste going to #landfill and polluting our #environment.'
"She believed it would favour consumers over big corporates 'who build #obsolescence into their products so people have to keep coming back to replace their things and spend more of their money'.
"It would benefit households as well as businesses including farmers who would be able to fix the appliances and the tools they needed to do their jobs.
"Auckland University Professor and member of the Right to Repair Coalition Alex Simms calls it a 'first step'.
"It was a worldwide movement and New Zealand was "lagging behind', she told Morning Report.
"Simms said one drawback of the existing bill was that the Commerce Commission would not have the power to compel manufacturers to comply because it is an amendment to the Consumer Guarantees Act.
"One suggestion that arose during the debate in Parliament was that it should become part of the #FairTradingAct so that #ComCom would have enforcement powers.
"Also, currently if a consumer takes an item such as a phone to an unauthorised repairer a warranty becomes void - that would no longer apply if the bill became law, Professor Simms said.
"'That will really help people get stuff fixed a lot cheaper."
