I started to read 'The Autobiography of Malcolm X'.

@maxsidman This introspection (well, self-criticism) has been growing for a while, Max. I think a chat with @ewen this week gave me the push to recognize the burnout and start working with purpose.
Oh, and I'll add that people participating in @stevenlawson 's #colourchallenge these past 4 weeks have proved that a collection is greater than the individual parts.

Summer in Japan is lush with rainfall and foliage. Even in the city you're never far from some wild spaces and calming forest.

Friends, here are my #Green images for the final day of the #ColourChallenge - as I anticipated, it was much easier to find green scenes than blue, maybe because the west of Scotland is so wet!
Thank you to everyone who has taken part - it has been wonderful seeing your collections.
Not only has it been a lot of fun, the challenge has provided a great lesson in focusing creativity - narrowing your options really pushes you to work hard and stretch yourself. #photography -
@ewen Another excellent film Ewen. I think if I had ever tried to make photography my career rather than my passion, it would have killed said passion. It was always a release from the pressures of my career in journalism and now that I have retired, I'm free to follow that passion wherever it takes me. I'm rarely bored and things like the ongoing #ColourChallenge certainly help with that and it's heartening to see other people joining in the fun.
