    CW: Aleochara bipustulata (L.) aedeagus median lobe

    I've just had a hard week. Honestly, when both Aleochara bipustulata (L.) and A. binotata Kr. (Coleoptera Staphylinidae) are in mixture in a sample, the affair turns hellish!
    Without spermatheca, recognizing females is almost impossible.
    At least, I could shoot lots of genitalia pictures. Last time, I published A. bipustulata (L.) entire aedeagus. This time, it is median lobe only.

    Sorry: this picture is not meant to be nice, but to be useful. Aedeagus inspection is required in order to sort out European Coprochara species (Coleoptera #Staphylinidae). But Käfer Mitteleuropas features only median lobes. So here is a full view of Aleochara (Coprochara) bipustulata (L.) aedeagus.
