My temperature is down 2 degrees.
Yay.Bad news:
It’s now 101 degrees.Being sick blows.
This is now officially the worst flu I’ve ever had.
Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll actually look back at this and LAUGH at throwing up my body weight in phlegm and mucus.
Hot and cold streaks, full body aches, hacking cough, a constant state of dizziness.
It’s been like every single one of my nights in the 90s, but without all the fun fringe benefits and sexual conquests.The one bonus:
For the past year, I’ve said I wanted to lose ten pounds and get back down to my universal weight of 225.
I’ve been sick three days, and I’m 226.
I was 233 on Monday.
So hooray for me, I guess.

After nearly 10 days of Covid, having really bad symptoms like nausea, fever, cough and on one day vomiting blood, I’m COVID free! Full recovery will take some time though as I was not able to eat or drink anything without the anti-sick tablets!
Be very careful people, wear a mask and take precautions this winter. We have not all been offered a booster so don’t become complacent against Covid.

I have a toddler at home, he is experiencing his first major cold. It is heartbreaking as he doesn't understand why he is coughing or wheezing so it scares him.
It is not Covid or RVS and he is recovering properly so I know in my head that he will be okay, but not being able to effectively make him understand that just hurts.
I am sure this is something every parent has to deal with at some point. Either way, stay safe everyone!
