Got into a fight with #Windows11 on my gaming laptop. Tried to kill off Delivery Optimization and windows refused. Access is Denied, as Administrator, as System even. So I asked #Claude about replacing with Linux. Just wanna keep #OpenWebUI, #BG3, #CoH, and #Ollama. Everything will work perfectly in Ubuntu thanks to #Steam. So #FuckMicrosoft. Linux doesn’t tell me “Access Is Denied” ever. Ever ever. That’s what killed Windows 11 on this gaming rig for me.

Gonna be a big beautiful bright Sunday. High of 65. So we’ll fling open the windows and flush all the inside air and replace it with fresh air. The cats will be beside themselves with window-sill sitting and staring at birds making ek-ek sounds.
I have no plans. Nothing to do. So, that’s unusual. Books, #bg3, #CoH, and definitely a walk. Maybe around the neighborhood. Maybe I’ll be inspired with a mantra and wander around the neighborhood shining and broadcasting it. The day is rich. #today

Tonight's gaming was a marathon of task forces and monster hunting, culminating in a task force in ancient Rome and then fighting some giant pumpkin monster.

In today's #CompanyOfHeroes3 bug, I'm in a mission where I need to lead a few squads of infantry to safety, but the infantry squads (which are allied units not controlled by me) are being lazy and refuse to follow me. Seen some posts on the Relic forums indicating some people had the issue but it resolved itself... after five attempts at the mission.
Well, this is grand.

Look, despite the two crashes I've had so far (which appears to be the Desktop Window Manager unrecoverably crashing) - #CompanyOfHeroes3 is still a lot of fun. Continuing to progress in the dynamic Italy campaign.
