  3. This is a really good paper about, why you hear so often that the "kids these days" are so much worse than earlier generations. science.org/doi/full/10.1126/s

    They identify 2 main reasons
    "A person-specific tendency to notice the limitations of others where one excels and a memory bias projecting one’s current qualities onto the youth of the past. When observing current children, we compare our biased memory to the present and a decline appears."
