  3. I really do feel that lighting is at least 70% of making low-polygon, low-texture resolution games look pretty.

    I decided that for checking out how my #IridiumMoons assets actually look in first person, I don't really have to bother with making my own character controller in Godot, when the game will be built on the #Cogito template anyway. It already has full movement controls.

    The demo level is as plain as low-poly can get, but I forgot how pretty it is. 🤩

  26. The #COGITO contributors always amaze me. Here's someone doing an early test of implementing a third person camera to switch to.
    Clearly very early, but amazing to see what's possible.

    I'm very busy with GRIDHACK this month, but hope to get back to give COGITO a bit more love in October.

    The template now supports multiple languages out of the box and offers a few easy ways to add/localize your own and future creations!

    There's also a new video tutorial explaining how it works in the docs.

  44. Sometimes you gotta mess around for fun. So I took the Bistro scene, setup #Cogito and made the Vespa driveable in ~35min.

    Not perfect, of course, but great to get started fast and start tweaking the fun.
