A friend of mine expressed his love for coffee and I just randomly made a connection to web design. :blobcoffee:
This brought me a memory of hearing some sound file in the old web page creation software, which referred to coffee. It's a small jingle with male voice singing: "I love coffee in cup". Maybe it was packed with Evrsoft First Page 2006, can't really recall, but you can be sure that I used the hell out of its scripts and examples to tinker with HTML, CSS and JavaScript back then.
Turns out there also existed CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer at the time. Perhaps, that man in the jingle really sang: "I love CoffeeCup"? It's a thing akin to old Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Dreamweaver, but even less featured.

Недавно на Хабре видел публикацию об интернете нулевых и поймал себя на мысли, что порой по нему скучаю. И дело даже не в том, что мне не хватает дизайна или вырвиглазных Flash-баннеров. Каждый лишний килобайт веб-страницы мог привести к тому, что человек просто оттуда уйдет, не дождавшись загрузки. Такие технические ограничения вынуждали веб-мастеров оптимизировать размер изображений и применять массу других приемов, которые позволяли снизить объем передаваемых данных. Когда-то я тоже занимался подобным, а свой первый веб-сайт и вовсе создавал в обычном блокноте. И лишь спустя несколько лет я познакомился с приложениями, которые сильно упростили жизнь в то время. О них и пойдет речь. Наливайте себе чайку — и добро пожаловать в небольшое путешествие в прошлое.

Remembering having Turkish coffee on my birthday back in August at Tempe restaurant Cafe Lalibela, an esteemed Ethiopian restaurant in Tempe. Such fondness I have for special cups of coffee in the past. Never had posted this photo before and I noticed today that the little rainbow reflection in the coffee is a treat.
Although I usually take my coffee black, a question on coffee creamers—do you know exactly what color of tan your coffee needs to be when you have added just the right amount? I’ve been using organic cream (so luxe!) I add until the color is just right. Or do you add a certain amount? #Coffee #CoffeeCup

I prefer to drink coffee out of a ceramic cup, the problem with that though is the heat dissipates quicky, so the last bit of coffee isn't hot. Paper cups are the worst, coffee just doesn't taste quite right from a paper cup and the problem of heat dissipation is worse and after a time, coffee seems to seep through the bottom edges of the cup. When traveling use a thermos cup that can keep the coffee hot for hours, it's a holdover from when I went to work every day. Drinking from the thermos doesn't feel the same though, I don't know why, maybe it doesn't seem cultured or something. But in the end the most important thing is the coffee, it's part of my daily regime and something to look forward to in the morning.
