In the end, my talented friend Marie-Louise, one of the few licensed traditional Genevois costume makers, sewed the dresses and blouses! She made 1 for me (left) & my daughter, in the two permitted colours. These are the « costume genevois de travail », i.e. week wear dresses, as opposed to the more fancy flowery Sunday dresses.
We’ll use them for our concert at the Fête de la Musique in June. #sewing #costume #historicalsewing #costumesuisse #suisse #geneve #yodel #jodl #CoeurDesYodleuses
