Sazerac
45ml rye whisky
15ml cognac
5 dashes creole bitters
1 dash angostura bitters
10ml rich simple (2:1)
2 drops saline solution (2:8 salt:water by weight)
AbsinthePrepare glass with generous spray of absinthe

Extra spray of absinthe for good luckPicked up a new rye that I wanted to try, so a sazerac felt reasonable. Might halve the simple next time.

Topgallant
50ml gin
30ml red vermouth
1.25ml strega
1 dash angosturaStir with ice
Strain
Express oils from lemon peel and garnishI have a hard time telling if the strega does much in this cocktail, but the people in the comments on difford's guide seemed convinced. Overall very nice. I used another Hendrick's gin here which I think worked quite well, though maybe a more standard gin would let the strega shine more.

Frank O'Hara
60ml gin
10ml strega liqueurStir with ice
Strain
Garnish with lemon twistAfter almost falling into a coma from all the Easter food and snaps, I only had the energy to make this two ingredient cocktail. Quite nice, but I wanted some more sweetness and added 5ml of rich simple and a spray of absinthe which I think improved it.
