Canada geese rightly have a reputation for aggression. That being said, they like me and I've never been attacked by one. I grew up playing with domesticated geese. They followed me around in a honking parade. I think it rubbed off, and Canada geese see me as a friend. #CanadaGoose #CobraChicken #UrbanWildlife #wildlife #birds

Moose Jaw famously has *swans* in a creek in a park in the middle of town. I don't think I ever saw a pelican in Moose Jaw, but I could be wrong. I went to school there.
By the way, swans look great and peaceful and majestic and all, but they are Not To Be Trifled With at the best of times. They're up there with Canada geese.

As someone who lives and works in a region where these birds are prevalent, I saw this as a strong cautionary warning.

@human3500 the turkeys are very regular on the large lawns of a few houses just north of the Hunt Club bridge, along the river. They're there all winter. Coyotes always in the vacant lot on the S side.
I saw a monster flock of turkeys off Limebank. Like 100. Definitely mustering for some sort of manoeuvres.
The city could allow bowhunting on public/private lands without too much risk. It wouldn't hurt to knock back the rabbits and #cobrachicken that have unbalanced numbers.
