Iowa:
"Renewables now account for roughly 62% of Iowa’s electricity generation, up from 18% in 2010, with wind alone providing nearly 59% of total output.

The report found notable disparities in property tax burdens based on proximity to wind development. Properties in school districts with no wind turbines pay 26% higher property taxes on average than those in districts with large-scale wind production."

This is one of my favorite spots along the Liesing in Vienna.

I don't know about this section, but most of the Lising was confined in concrete walls not too many years ago, but almost every section in Vienna has been renaturalized by now.

The results:
* fewer floods
* better water quality (Platon doesn't stink after bathing)
* the human psyche benefits from the beauty of nature
* more biodiversity
* great education opportunity (you probably can't see it in the pictures, but just a little bit upstream there is a group of kindergardeners probably learning something about the environment)
* cooler microclimate
* and many, many more

It's great to see UN Climate Change addressing the impact of climate change on mental health. The indirect effects are often overlooked.

Including more green infrastructure in our urban environments provides co-benefits for mental and physical health and environmental health.
