Stealth was a Vekoma Flying Dutchman that operated at California's Great America from 2000 to 2003. The roller coaster cost $17 million USD to construct and reached a top speed of 51MPH.

Her life at the park was cut short when plans were announced to expand the water park. Luckily she found a second life at @Carowinds where she has been operating ever since as Nighthawk.

The Jack N' Jill Scenic roller coaster operated at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester NY. Opening in 192, she cost $45,000 USD to construct. ($712,000 USD adjusted for inflation)

The ride only operated, burning down in 1930. The park decided not to rebuild it.

Jumbo Jet was a Schwarzkopf Jet Star coaster that operated at @cedarpoint from 1972 to 1978. The ride featured the classical Schwarzkopf spiral lift, which saved space for amusement parks looking to pack high thrills into a smaller space.

The roller coaster was located near the lake-side of the amusement park, in the area today located between #Gatekeeper and Windseeker.

La Vibora is an Intamin steel bobsled coaster that has been operating at @SixFlagsOverTX since 1986.

I have a theory that #rollercoasters perform better when built next to the ocean. Must be all that salt air.

Skyways was a Galaxi S.D.C. model roller coaster that operated at Clarence Pier in Portsmouth, UK from 1980 until 2017. The original plan for Skyways was to disassemble and refurbish it in time to reopen in 2020, but.....that didn't happen.

Jet Scream! was a Schwarzkopf looping star roller coaster that operated at @SixFlags St. Louis from 1981 to 1988. The ride featured one loop and reached top speeds of 48 MPH.

After removal from St. Louis, Jet Scream! was relocated to Astroworld where it continued to operate under the name Viper until the park's closure in 2005.

What's not to like about this coaster? The zero g stalls, the speed, the extreme drops, the 2:30 minute ride, the pacing....everything clicks on this ride. It's proof that when RMC is given the land, money, and time to develop a ride, the can exceed beyond anyone's wildest dreams. I've yet to find a better RMC.

The Jackrabbit was designed by legendary coaster designer John A. Miller, and is one of the few coasters he designed that still operates. It is a terrain coaster that features an out-and-back layout.

17. Phantoms Revenge - @kenny_kangaroo

I don't know if you should give #ArrowDynamics more credit for one of their best designed hyper coasters ever, or Morgan Rides more credit for improving the coaster in 2001. Either way, Phantoms Revenge is one of the best roller coasters to come out of the 1990s. It's still a fan favorite for park visitors.

The Dragon is a defunct #ArrowDynamics roller coaster that operated at Ocean Park in #HongKong from 1984 until 2021. You can just feel your head slamming off those OTS restraints, can't you?

This ride went through several paint jobs over the years. The best might be the absolute kaleidoscope of a paint job it received in its final years.

New Revolution at @SFMagicMountain is a 1976 Schwarzkopf looper that still packs almost 5Gs of force on riders through its vertical loop.

The coaster has gone through several name changes and restraint changes over the year - thankfully they're back to just a lap bar restraint in the trains as originally designed.

20. Cú Chulainn - Emerald Park

This ride is a ton of fun, and the well-placed over-banked turn halfway through the ride earned Cú Chulainn a spot in my top 20.

I'm not saying everyone's in the neighborhood to visit Ireland's biggest amusement park, but if you are, be sure to stop by and take a ride or two on this behemoth.

Opened in 2000, this #Vekoma Flying Dutchman lasted only 4 seasons at the park before closing in September 2003 to make room for the new water park.

Luckily, she still rides today, 3000 miles away - you may know her now as Nighthawk at #Carowinds.

Chang operated at @SixFlags Kentucky Kingdom until 2009, shortly before Six Flags announced bankruptcy and the closure of the park.

After the park closed, Chang was relocated to Six Flags Great Adventure where it continues to operate today as Green Lantern.

23. Hydra the Revenge - Dorney Park

While @DorneyParkPR does not have a lot going for it (thanks Cedar Fair) Hydra is a fantastic ride that makes any visit to the park even better.

It has one of the most unique starts to a ride I've ever experienced, and the grand twists and turns this ride offers is why it creeps into my top 25.
