I find projects like this so exciting. Ever since I moved to Glasgow I’ve been wondering why there’s such a bad north-south connection and we’re finally seeing improvements (here between Partick-Govan and between Yoker/Clydebank-Renfrew as well) 🤩
Unfortunately lost the mini ferry between Partick and Govan though (and I wonder if the Yoker-Renfrew) ferry is gonna go as well.

Mission Impossible(?) Trying to find a way of on foot, reaching Clydebank by bus and from a bus station get into the north bit of #Clydebank shopping centre without using a bridge or aerial walkway. Damn you canal and train lines.

There was so little light and so much "digital zoom" that the clouds were just minor variations in noise
I used some heavy noise reduction and contrast/brightness adjustment layers for a reasonably pictorial outcome
I use PaintShopPro for editing (on my PC) because it's cheap and has such great tools, particularly:
adjustment layers + blend modes
channel splitting / combining
arithmetical image mixing#photography

At 7am on a Sunday the Great Western Road out of #Glasgow is quiet and for a wee while it's a pleasure to walk it. Here are some photos from this morning's walk, 6.7 miles up GWR to the Hardgate roundabout, then down through Clydebank to Dumbarton Road, home to Old Drumchapel via Yoker Mill Road.
