Two bleach blondes in their 50s just breezed in. They're looking at my jewelry and one of them asks, "Where do you acquire all this?"
I look up from my work making a pendant. "I make it," I reply.
Her eyes bulge, making her gray roots even more obvious. "All of it?"
"Yes. This is an art show. Everything here is made by the artist in the booth."
The concept is apparently new to them. They don't linger.
