    For #ThrowbackThursday here's the view from our room at the Red Lion Hotel in Clovelly, Devon back in 1996. This was a long weekend away with the woman who I'd been going out with for four months at this time and who I've been with ever since. Fond memories of how much my car struggled to get up the hill from this bay, screaming in first gear as it just managed it each day before we'd head off exploring.

    Angekommen in #Devon, Nähe #Hartland. Auf den sehr engen Sträßchen ist der #MalibuVan schon ordentlich eingeweiht worden, von entlangschleifenden Zweigen - unschön aber unvermeidlich. Wir sind ein paar Kilometer Küstenwanderwege gelaufen, haben das Museumsdorf #Clovelly besichtigt, am Abend eingekauft und gekocht. Der erste "richtige" Urlaubstag auf unserer Reise klingt jetzt aus auf einem #Stellplatz direkt am Fluss in #Bideford.
