@srfirehorseart @steeznson @monkeyborg If an Internet-connected #printer doesn't require the user to press a button to fetch queued documents, it needs an ongoing connection to the Internet in order to receive a notification that a document is ready to be printed. Users expect to be able to print even if the printer happens to be connected to a different network. This could be mobile data vs. WLAN, guest LAN vs. private LAN, or even just 2.4 GHz v. 5 GHz APs on a particular LAN. #CloudPrinting
