Just played Close to the Sun. Not recommended.
I can't ever recommend a game that doesn't let you save in the middle of an hour long chapter, or at all outside of chapter title cards. What in the world?

Playing Close to the Sun and it's confusing to me because I get the passport collectibles which appear to be dated 1897, but the maps in Chapter One show The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and Bolivia having access to the Pacific. The former ceased to exist in 1861 according to Wikipedia and Bolivia lost access to the Pacific after The War of the Pacific ended in 1883. I even looked up a map of Bolivia in 1897, because the war reparations continued until 1929, but the map shows no access to the sea. I am a nerd, I know.

I knew this game was 'Bioshock but without the combat', but did they really have to go down the 'guy who's been talking to you on the radio is actually not who he says he is' trope?

Credit to #CloseToTheSun. It's the first game I've ever played that actually references #DieHard when you crawl through a ventilation shaft. Gotta respect it.

Okay. I've officially moved #TailsOfIron into my pile of shame. I had fun with it, I just think maybe it's a better 5 hour game than a 10 hour one.
I'm now playing (or will be tomorrow, cause I'm old and tired) #CloseToTheSun. I know nothing about it except that it's on a ship and I absolutely love stuff that's set on, or is about Ships.

J'aimerai bien finir #ClosetotheSun mais il y a un bug ultra chiant : Au bout d'un moment le son déconne et le jeu se met à ramer monstrueusement (freeze 2-3 secondes, fluide 2-3 secondes, refreeze, etc...). Du coup pas moyen de jouer. Quelqu'un aurait une solution ?
