Is this the #CaliforniaModel? Heat deaths. Constant violence. ENOUGH. Incarcerated people are dying while @CAgovernor @gavinnewsom sweeps #homeless encampments and spends $240 million on monuments to himself in #SanQuentin.
On 8/19, there's a protest at #CCWF demanding an end to this brutality. Instead of investing in communities, Newsom is ignoring calls to #CloseCAPrisons, criminalizing people, and stealing the belongings of the unhoused.
