> The Multnomah County CJP lays out concrete ways for both government and community to achieve climate justice for everyone.
> This government climate plan was built from the ground up with the people most impacted by the climate crisis and decades of pollution. Frontline voices are at the center. And it’s moving at the speed of trust, not at the speed of industry lobbyists. The plan was developed in partnership with local climate and environmental justice organizations and reflects our communities’ specific and most pressing needs.
> Hundreds of community members and more than 15 climate, justice, and environmental organizations have publicly testified or written in support of the plan, voicing support for its intersectional approach: climate justice is racial justice, economic justice, and health justice.
