I have started to talk of anyone to walks, bikes, rolls, or takes public transit as "#ClimateHeroes", because by doing that you reduce #CarbonEmissions (as well as air pollution and congestion for those who drive), and in most places outside the Netherlands and Denmark you are walking or biking at great personal risk.
Call it propaganda if you wish, I call it re-framing the issue.
City engineers need to hear it often: Climate heroes, not cars, need priority on city streets. -

Am Montag, 4.2.2019 haben 23 Aktivist_innen von Ende Gelände, Robin Wood und der interventionistischen Linken Bagger in Jänschwalde und Welzow Süd besetzt. Sie haben sich mit dieser mutigen Aktion des Zivilen Ungehorsams gegen das inakzeptable Ergebnis der Kohlekommission gewehrt. Es ist dabei weder Jemand noch Etwas zu Schaden gekommen. Sie wurden zunächst in Gewahrsam und anschließend zum Großteil in Untersuchungshaft genommen. Ihnen wird Hausfriedensbruch vorgeworfen. Wegen des Vorwurfs des Hausfriedensbruchs U-Haft zu verhängen, ist jenseits jeder Verhältnismäßigkeit. Zudem wurden ihre Gefangenenrechte massiv beschnitten. So wurde 16 Aktivist_innen kein Telefonat ermöglicht. Außerdem wurde ihnen der Zugang zu Anwält_innen und Ärzt_innen verwehrt.
Ziviler Ungehorsam ist kein Verbrechen!
