Does the NASA GEDI data really show the eastern U.S. #forests as one of 6 or 7 #carbon storage hotspots in the world, on-par with Congo and Amazonian #Rainforests? If so how come no-one is talking about the importance of #Appalachian #ClimateForests ? Reality check appreciated.
