SCITUATE, Mass. — "A storm surge off Humarock Beach severely damaged a home on Central Avenue, eroding the rocks and sand that support the seawall and exposing the foundation.
"The front patio and seawall dropped several feet, and the exposed foundation is pulling away, prompting concerns that the house may not last through the day.
" 'We still do have a couple more tides, but for right now I'd say we're doing better than we anticipated,' said #ScituateMA Town Administrator Jim Boudreau.
"A large amount of sea foam and rocks were seen covering the roads in Scituate, as the nor'easter severely impacted coastal communities."
