Question regarding California’s click-to-cancel law (Automatic renewal law),
* Costco wouldn’t let us check the price of appliances without a membership id.
* I purchased the membership online though their app and found the deals were shit.
* Couldn’t find a way to cancel through the app, chat asked me to call a number, they gave me yet another number of the local store and the store is asking me to come in-person to cancel.Is this bs legal? Can they force me to come in to cancel and not offer any online means to cancel the membership? Is there a place where I can put in a complain for this practice?
