Growing my own food has been a great experience so far and I'm learning a lot. This is Green Sorrel which I eat raw in salads, but one can use it in soups and other dishes too. Sorrel is a highly nutritious, low-fat source of carbs and protein, high in fiber. It contains a large amount of vitamin A, vitamin C, magnesium, and iron. It also provides potassium, manganese, and B vitamins.

The lettuce and Basil taste delicious as we wait for the tomatoes to grow a couple of weeks more. Since the food is now literally growing a couple of meters from our plates, we started to eat super fresh and highly nutritional food every day. The moment a pot is empty I put in a new one so after a few growth cycles I should have fresh home grown food all the time.
