My expert hour at #egu24 at 12-13:00 today at the #DKRZ booth.
Happy to talk about the global carbon cycle and the #ocean #carbonsinks and how we model all this with our #EarthSystemModels.

Congratulations to Jule Radtke! 👩🎓💐 🥳 🥂
She successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled “On the relationship between precipitation and spatial organisation in the trades”. 🌎☁️💧🌧 -
Congratulations to Theresa Lang! 👩🎓 🥳 🥂💐
She has sucessfully completed her PhD "On the Uncertainty in Modelling Tropical Relative Humidity”.
In her impressive PhD defense she explained how such uncertainties affect the Earth's radiation balance and how she worked out that model parameterisations are their major cause in #GlobalStormResolvingModels
What an achievement!
