@garius marvellous idea if you can get past the obvious timeline problem. Fawlty Towers was made in the mid-70s and was contemporaneous. Manuel was probably in his thirties, forty at a push. He would barely have been born by the time the Spanish Civil War ended. His father could have been involved, but not him. #fawltytowers #manuel #cleese
