DIY corsi-rosenthal boxes are cheaper than commercial air purifiers and easy to assemble with duct tape. (Color/patterns with duct tape add some fun looks.)

High static pressure PC fan boxes are more expensive but quieter, fit more unobtrusively in rooms, and with lights ... look cool.

HVAC system pulls in fresh outdoor air and vents 'used' air through the ceiling.

#CO2 reading of 534 ppm* in my #Brooklyn apartment this AM—one adult (me) and two cats. One window cracked open -2 inches. Not bad!
Note: reading was taken after I’d been rushing around doing household chores (i.e. vacuuming, washing dishes) for 30 minutes, so I suspect I would’ve gotten a lower reading if I’d been sentient.
