Over on bird site, there’s an entire thread of #oxman lifting full paragraphs from students’ theses word for word, very few changes, no attribution.
Also, she’s marketing herself/work as an #architect, which is illegal to use that title in MA. In some USA states, representing that you are an architect when not licensed is a felony.

Re #ClaudineGay, the presidency at an educational institution should be about academic principles/excellence. She was perfect in the hearing on that front imo (after failing to defend conservative voices for years). The job should not be about being the best academic, as plenty of geniuses would make terrible admins etc. It also shouldn't be about fundraising/politics as it is now, cause that may lead to compromises re the pursuit of "truth". She should have lost her faculty position instead.
