Finished #3dprinting a 2x #LEGO #SpaceShip, I have fond childhood memories of this set (487). My mom took me to the Daytons #DepartmentStore in #Minneapolis #Minnesota to see a Lego exhibit that featured this set and other #ClassicSpace sets in 1978. I remember they had a giant circular #space station in this style that was amazing. This one snaps together better than the 3x technic car I printed many years ago. The color for the transparent cockpit turned out exceptionally well.

Heute Paul - eine Leidenschaft für Monorail!
Wer Paul kennt, weiß: Zweimal im Jahr, wird ein Traum vieler AFOLs wahr – denn dann hat er endlich wieder die Gelegenheit, seine Monorail aufzubauen & fahren zu lassen.
Diesmal war sie eingebettet in ein riesiges Classic-Space-Layout mit vielen Details, Funktionen & Figuren.

Reflections.
The idea was to make a simple study of reflections. A custom gold plated Lego Classic Spaceman was perfect for it. It’s very shiny. At some point the duck just decided to join the photoshoot for some colour.

2022. Comme pour la livrée grise, la violette arrive en plusieurs épisodes. Ça commence par un torse. Puis, un autre set révèle le casque et les réservoirs. Commandés sur Bricklink, avec les mains.
Le reste, quelques figurines me le fournissent gentiment. -

2019. Il y a eu *The LEGO Movie*. Et sa suite. Un des personnage, Benny, un nostalgique des sets d'antan, nous arrive avec son équipage. Dont un•e qui flamboie dans cette combinaison rose.

2017. Comme un clin d'œil, une minifig dévoile un torse gris clair, au logo bien connu :
https://brickset.com/sets/71018-13/Il est bien caché sous le déguisement, mais il est là. Par contre, le reste de l'équipement n'est pas fourni. Je trouve le casque sur une autre figurine. Et les mains et les jambes dans mes tiroirs.
Pour les réservoirs, j'ai toujours un vieil exemplaire, d'une autre teinte de gris. Mais la différence est minime 😅 -

1984. Je joue déjà certainement aux LEGO.
Le bon moment pour que le trio devienne quintette. Les tenues bleues et noires sont sur le pont.
Et le groupe restera ainsi pendant bien longtemps… -

1979. Je suis né, je ne joue toujours pas aux LEGO, mais une nouvelle couleur arrive !
Iel est jaune, plein•e, et les équipages interstellaires profitent de cette diversité. -

I made this image because I liked how the gold reflected the surrounding rock in yesterday's quickie. I wanted to try it with something a little bigger before I take the setup down. The Disco Spaceman is what I had.
They ducks were added here for some colour – and madness!

These are from a roadtrip to the Finnish Lapland some time ago. I had this guy as my travel companion. I never posted these photographs before, no reason why. Or maybe it was because the helmet is ever so slightly crooked.

The Classic Spaceman, an enduring Lego design, still looks great after over four decades.
I have a set of the oldies. Only the red is mine originally, the others I bought a few years ago. There's also the yellow and the blue, not pictured here.
The golden one is obviously an aftermarket issue, it just looked great. I call it the Disco Spaceman.
