Every time I listen to “Luka,”...I can't hold back my tears. Everything is perfect: the music, the lyrics, and of course Suzanne Vega's voice.
Other than that, I'm not surprised Prince liked it. It's well known that he was a man of good taste (when it came to music).

" #DontLetMeBeLonely Tonight" is a song written and performed by American singer-songwriter #JamesTaylor, from his 1972 album #OneManDog. The song has been included on three of Taylor's greatest-hits collection albums: #GreatestHits (1976), #ClassicSongs (1987) and #TheBestOfJamesTaylor (2003). Taylor re-recorded the song for the 2001 #MichaelBrecker album #NearnessOfYouTheBalladBook; this rendition won Taylor the #GrammyAwardForBestMalePopVocalPerformance in 2002.

The long shot of long shots, but worth a try. I’m forever the optimist! I don’t suppose anyone’s come across an original 78rpm record sleeve from 1945 like this one have they? I’ll pay if any are still out there. As far as I know it’s American, as the British versions had completely different sleeves.
