Now I normally do #Vampires in Sept when I'm doing my #Undead marathon but there's always a few that I don't find that get aired in Oct so I record on the PVR so I start my #CreatureFeatures marathon with them. 1st I started the morning with a documentary on Shudder called Boris Karloff: the Man behind the monsters 2021 then I watched the recordings I had saved Dracula 1931, Mark of the Vampire 1935, Horror of Dracula 1958 & Dracula AD 1972. #MyHorrorfest #HorrorMovies #ClassicMonsters #Horror

December is dedicated to 1 of my favorite categories #CreatureFeatures & I've got a huge lineup prepared with #ClassicMonsters #CreepyCrawlers #NaturesRevenge #ReptilianCreatureFeatures #UnderWaterCreatureFeatures & all the other various Creature Features that fit this category except for aliens, those are done in May now. Today (March 2) in 1933, the original King Kong premiered in theaters.
That's over NINE decades of the KING! And he's more popular now than ever. There was recently an animated series, a video game, a new comic series is coming out, another TV series is on the way, there's the toys, and of course Godzilla x Kong premieres at the end of this month.

Today's #CreatureFeatures started with #Mummy movies on the pvr the Mummy 1959 & the Awakening 1981 (I didn't go nuts with the Mummy movies this year) + I have the Mummy 1999 & the Mummy returns 2001 so that's it for #ClassicMonsters on to other #horrorclassics #Creatures on the pvr with the Creature from the Black lagoon 1954 & Attack of the 50 ft woman 1958 (it's been a while since I've seen this 1), now I'm watching my copy of Little shop of horrors 1960 with my Couch potato buddy. #horror

More classic interpretation of Frankenstein's Monster

I would never watch a colorized versions of any of the original Universal monster films -- being strictly opposed to colorization (and also, believing these films are exquisite as is) -- but I appreciate the novelty of this video. Several of the films genuinely look stunning when interpreted this way.
