  1. I'm listening to the album, Moving Pictures, by Rush. I fell in love with Rush on hearing this album, for the first. What g33ks! I mean, beginning and titling a piece with an airport code! What's not to love! YYZ is the piece, and, it's now playing! #music #RockMusic #ClassicRock

    Oil Things Must Pass
    ==================

    [Verse 1]
    We’re destroying Earth's natural greenery
No place left, for the kids to play
They choke on toxic fumes, while coughing
It doesn’t have to be this way.

    [Chorus]
    Oil things must pass
    Oil things must pass away

    [Verse 2]
    Our governments are always warring.
They say, 'Killing keeps gas price at bay!"
Poor people die. Rich men profit.
I just don’t believe what they say!

    [Chorus]
    Oil things must pass
    Oil things must pass away

    [Bridge]
    Oil things must pass
    No human beings can last
So we must switch to solar power now, without delay

    [Verse 3]
    Sunlight doesn’t cost a penny.
Solar batteries get recharged all day.
Planet Earth heated up, despite all warnings.
Let’s cool it, before it’s too late.

    [Chorus]
    Oil things must pass
    Oil things must pass away
    Oil things must pass
    Oil things must pass away

    - Ashwin Dixit.

  8. New #review today: "#ThinkLikeAKey continues its excavation of forgotten underground music with The Producer's Cut, an expansive three-disc revisit of #OrangUtan's sole 1971 release. The resulting recordings showcase a competent hard-rock outfit working within the conventions of the era, blending blues-rock riffs, heavy guitars, and straightforward song structures." #ExposeOnline #ClassicRock #ThinkLikeAKeyRecords expose.org/index.php/articles/

  12. Without Stewat Copeland's unusual (for the time) use of reggae rhythms in pop rock songs, none of us would have ever heard of The Police or Sting.
