@classicmoviebuff The Girl Behind the Counter (1911) (https://www.stumfilm.dk/en/stumfilm/streaming/film/ekspeditricen), a movie with questionable morals but with some snappy performances. Danish only but the English (and French and Russian and Portuguese ...!) translation is provided in the notes section (and for fun you can read the London English translation which changes the story to eliminate *gasp* premarital sex!) 2/3 #SilentFilm #ClaraPontoppidan #Denmark #AugustBlom
