This-- oddly enough-- is the same type of circumstance that I've been referencing in my Mastodon Profile as "an episode" in 2013.
Dear Civil Rights Division,
I am writing to report ongoing discrimination in my medical treatment due to assumptions about my past medical history. These assumptions have led to my repeated exclusion from effective treatments, directly impacting my health, quality of life, and professional future.
Despite my attempts to discuss these issues openly with healthcare providers, my concerns were dismissed, leaving me with little recourse and a diminished quality of life. When I sought legal advice, I was informed that such risks are "known" side effects, yet my right to consider alternatives was disregarded, based on unjust bias.
I am requesting guidance on how to formally report this pattern of discrimination and to pursue just compensation for the health damages I’ve suffered due to these circumstances.
Thank you for your consideration. I am hopeful that your department can help me find a path to ensure this experience is acknowledged, rectified, and prevented for others in similar situations.

Yet only 15people died. In #Libya the same #storm likely #killed over 10.000 people with only 414l. Of course #geographical, #political and #social circumstances are in part responsible, but a good #infrastructure to #warn people beforehand is likely the largest contributor. This is underlined by the heavy rain in #Germany in 2021 that killed 188 people with 90l/sqm.
To be prepared for the massive #natural #disasters that are heading out way due to the climate #crisis tools like #CellBroadcast and #Sirens are absolutely necessary to save lives.
Additionally we should strive to reduce #Co2 and save the #climate at any cost.
