Today is Jerry Rescue Day. On 1 October 1851 a fugitive slave named Jerry Henry was arrested in Syracuse, New York. A group of armed people took to the police station where he was being held and through overwhelming numbers returned him to freedom by force. A larger crowd outside helped his rescuers evade identification by the police.
While those who rescued Jerry were considered violent criminals by the state at the time, I believe that many of us today would consider them to be heroes who acted justly. I would hope that, since the project of abolition is far from over, we can continue to find the same bravery in our own time.

The title feels like a signpost telling us to sympathize with Cap, even though in his disagreement with Iron Man he willfully ignores the reality of the situation. In fact, based on how the characters are presented in the movies, their positions make no sense. The old Soldier should want a chain of command, and the maverick industrialist should want a free hand.
