The good people over at TurnBasedLovers have put together a list of the highest grossing turn-based games https://turnbasedlovers.com/lists/top-10-highest-grossing-turn-based-rpgs-and-strategy-games-of-all-time/ , no matter if strategy or RPG.
Unsurprisingly, this also does include some Civ titles, with #Civ5 coming 4th, and #Civ6 comin g 2nd.
The list claims that Civ5 brought in $179 million on Steam, and Civ6 $358 million on Steam.
They guys put together the list themself, and they don't cite their sources, so it's unclear how reliable these numbers are.
