This is the summary of my cycling trip to India from March 17th to 23rd.

I set out from beautiful Cochin, where I breathed in the art for several days during the biennial. My first stop was the fearsome mountains of Munnar, after which, at 1,700 meters, I admired the beautiful, verdant tea plantations. The climate was no longer the dusty and chaotic one of the previous weeks, but I could breathe deeply. I then descended breathlessly towards a new state, Tamil Nadu.

Bombay is extraordinary for its blend of modernity and architectural styles, so diverse and magnificent. We visited museums, Parsi communities, bars, cafés, and restaurants that could easily have been located in Europe. I also had the opportunity to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site on Elephanta Island, with its gigantic Hindu statues housed within the caves.

Here is a summary of the days from February 28th to March 4th.

I arrived in Bombay by bus to avoid the city's terrible traffic, but in the end, they dropped me off right in the middle of the highway, and I had to walk 15 incredibly long kilometers to reach Vandana's house. She and her family welcomed me like a brother, and we began exploring what has turned out to be the most beautiful city of my entire trip.
