David Onley once made me change a #Citytv #BreakfastTelevision script I wrote for him. I used the phrase "physically challenged." He told me that a pitcher with a full count and bases loaded was physically challenged. The word I was looking for was "disabled." He was right.

A nicer man you'll never find.

There was one newsroom 'set up' that had him on a stool just behind me, close enough that I could elbow him. We had many wonderful conversations over the years and he was one of the sweetest men I ever met.
