Overview Located along the southern edge of the State of Kansas are such important counties as Sumner and Cowley. Communities within the region in the Great Plains include Winfield, Arkansas City, South Haven, and Wellington, just to name a few. Notable amenities include bars and grills, as well as the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum, the Panhandle Railroad Museum, the Chisholm Trail Museum, and the National Depression Glass Association.
